Knowing Ben would take care of the little problem of Daniel-Edison Ath, Annie touched up her make-up. The past 10 years after leaving the District Attorney's office have not been the easiest on her.

"Death," a simple work, with so much meaning, pounded away in Annie's head. This late morning, every time she head it, it was like years being cut off her life.

As the prosecutor kept going, Annie could feel her brain wishing to explode. She was strong, but this was too much. Annie quickly stood up, everyone expecting her to object to the blatant bashing of her client, instead all she did was run out of the court room as fast as her 3 inch heels would let her.
